The Fast Zip sheets are made from 100% cotton by using a sateen finish. The fitted sheet will come in a 2 part set. The base fits on with extra deep pockets to help keep it snug. The top panel zips on with approximately 2” of trim on the top panel that covers the exposed zipper. The zipper also provides a branded pull that means it is simple to zip the very best panel on.
The classic set comes with a 2-part fitted sheet, a flat sheet, and two pillowcases. Other packages feature additional zip on fitted sheets and further flat sheets. Regarding sizing, Quick Zip offers many different types of crib mattress sheets, play yard sheets, twin, twin XL, Full, Queen, King and California King.
The Fast Zip crib sheets can be found in numerous colors and materials (cotton, organic cotton, or mink) which is sized to fit snugly on a standard size crib mattress. The pillow cases are open-ended, which means the pillow slides in and also the end remains open- versus a standard sham closure in which there.
The build expertise of the Tumblr, including thread quality, stitching, material quality, and overall construction, is very nice. Upon close examination, I only noticed two loose threads in the Quick Zip sheet set. Considering the additional number of stitches compared to the average group of sheets, I actually do not consider quickzzip being bad.
Each of the loose threads were located on the top panel in the fitted sheet. Undoubtedly, this is basically the piece which has the highest volume of stitching because it also includes the zipper construction.
This next group of tests evaluates a sheet’s durability and quality when it comes to shrinkage, thread examination (both before and after use / wash), and color transfer. Many of these factors work together to offer the very best quality sheet set possible.
First, we’re going to look at shrinkage. Shrinkage can be a huge problem and point of frustration for new sheet buyers. There is certainly nothing more annoying than using a well-fitting sheet shrink and suddenly not remain on the bed as snugly.
Next, we’ll look just a little closer on the stitching and thread quality. We already discussed that briefly, but this test will find how the threads are performing after several weeks useful and multiple washes.
For this particular test, first I measure the actual size of the person sheets right from the box. I Then run them through one normal wash / dry cycle and record a 2nd group of measurements.
Comparing the pre and post wash measurements reveals the quantity of shrinkage that occurred between the two. In the case of the fast Zip sheets, the sheets are preshrunk, that helps to limit additional shrinkage. The flat sheet shrank by 2.2% as well as the pillowcase shrank by 1.5%. This can be a really low quantity of shrinkage so it helps to assure a snug fit from the 1st time you put them on your mattress.
This test takes a closer look on the thread quality and overall wear in the material. After multiple washes, I have done notice two additional loose threads on the top panel in the fitted sheet, to get a total of four loose threads, but nothing that caused the sheet to rip or fray. In addition, there have been no other tears or new signs and symptoms of wear.
The Fast Zip classic sheets use a nice feel for them. They are certainly not the lightest sheets out there, but their strength is in their durability and unique zipper design. They have a cotton feel with a sateen finish-a lttle bit like this of the luxury hotel sheet.
The zipper makes it easy to get the most notable panel of your fitted sheet on, and so the flat sheet proceeds like any other sheet would. Throughout the sleep test, these sheets were snug through the night. The pillows also remained with their case without having problems.
Regarding cooling, the Quick Zip sheets are fairly cool. For many sleepers, these sheets could be suitable for moderate climates all year long. For sleepers who definitely are specifically looking for cooling sheets, a thinner choice is likely going to be a much better choice.
